We have more than 50 years of experience in providing a safe, thriving environment for young people to explore personal interests, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, discover
the creativity and health benefits of the outdoors, and make lasting friendships and memories. With a commitment to nurturing the potential of children and teens, promoting healthy living,
and fostering a sense of social responsibility, Y camps ensure that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.
Strap on your boots and bring your sunscreen! YMCA Trailblazer’s camp provide the traditional travel camp experience by traveling on exciting and educational field trips 3-4 times per
week. Camp will be using public transportation, school district busses and walking to travel to our destinations. Camps will host guest speakers and enjoy traditional camp experiences and
traditions that build character, learn teambuilding skills, and promote a positive self image. To ensure that campers' experiences are as age appropriate as possible, the camp has 2
calendars that split the camp into two groups: Kindergarten - 2nd grades & 3rd-6th grades. Don’t miss out on the fun! Spaces are limited!
Discover summer camps spend the majority of their time at the site location. Camp focuses on youth development, through hands on enrichment and literacy. We teach healthy living through
fun games and physical activities. Discover Camp strives to instill social responsibility through service learning projects, community awareness, and educational guest speakers. We provide
our campers with experiences that will support them in finding their spark, develop new friendships, and much more! Come join us this summer in making new, fun, exciting discoveries that will
last a lifetime! (All campers must be potty trained).

We make real positive impact! See what parents have to say about our summer camps:
It was a great opportunity for my children to make new friends, see a variety of places in our community and feel comfortable learning/traveling. The staff was wonderful and very
caring. My children had a wonderful experience and want to do it again next year. - South County Parent
She loves going to the Y, loves the staff and all her friends. She even learned how to ride a bike at the Y. She is a social person and needs the constant interactions with others.
With out the Y she wouldn't have had that available as often as she would like. - San Luis Obispo Parent
