Become a Member of the SLO County YMCA!
The San Luis Obispo County YMCA is a membership-based community service organization. Everyone is welcome to join the SLO County YMCA and no one is turned away for lack of ability to pay. You can become a YMCA member by either enrolling as a:

(but does not allow access to the fitness facility).
Get in shape at our 17,000 square foot San Luis Obispo facility. Develop your mind, body and spirit in a relaxed atmosphere that makes everyone feel comfortable. The Y offers a broad spectrum of group fitness classes that are all included in your membership fee. These classes are very well received by our members, due to an excellent staff of fitness instructors. We also have certified personal trainers onsite during most business hours to answer your fitness questions. Plus, new members can schedule two personal training sessions to get you started on your fitness path, included your membership fee as well!

The San Luis Obispo County YMCA is a membership focused community service organization and requires each participant to join our community of Y members.
To become a YMCA member, the participant must either enroll as a San Luis Obispo YMCA Health & Fitness Center member, or must pay for a $15 yearly program membership. YMCA program members may then enroll in other YMCA programs such as After School Adventures, Day Camps, Indian Guides & Princesses, etc. For information on the Y's Youth and Family programs, please click here.

Facility Use Punch Cards
A punch card can be used for handball/racquetball, fitness classes as well as general use of the facility. Punch cards are great for out of town guests, prospective members and as gifts! One day pass is $10. A 5-use punch card is $35 (a savings of $15) and a 10-use punch card is $50 (a $50 savings). Call the Front Desk for more information at 543-8235.

Gift certificates are available for every program and occasion. Please ask at our San Luis Obispo Fitness Facility Member Services Counter at 543-8235. |
Kids Gym
Kids Gym is located at the SLO County YMCA facility and operates year-round. This fee-based gym offers families a fun and safe place for their children while working out at the Y. The gym has a rope swing, games and a tunnel slide. Trained, energetic and enthusiastic staff supervises children while parents get to work out.
Fees per visit: Daily drop-in fee: $6.00 or $3.00 with family membership
$40.00 punch card (10 punches)
Unlimited Use: See rates above.
In addition a drop in after school program for children pre-school age - 6th greade is offered through Kids Gym: Healthy Kids Club.
