At the Y, no one is turned away for lack of ability to pay. We set our fees to be affordable to the majority of residents in a program’s service area and provide a Financial Assistance
Program for those who request and show a need for fee adjustments.
If you would like to make a difference in somone's life by donating to our Annual Support Campaign, which is our Financial Assistance fund, please click the

General Information: The Y believes that a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the person receiving assistance also contributes to the cost of his/her Y
involvement. Therefore all recipients in the Financial Assistance program are required to pay a portion of their fees. A sliding scale is used to determine the amount of Financial Assistance
awarded as a percentage off of total fees. Financial Assistance staff has the discretion to take into account special situations while distributing available funds with fairness and equity.
The program is operated with strict confidentiality.
Financial Assistance awards are determined based on a review of the required documentation listed below.
Financial Assistance must be submitted and processed before it can be applied to programming. Applicants must pay full fees until Financial Assistance is processed.
Most Financial Assistance awards are in the 15%-40% off range, and awards are for six months.
Eligibility: Financial Assistance is awarded based on financial need. Financial assistance expires six months after it is awarded and must be reapplied for every six months.
Financial Assistance program participants must pay program or membership rates in full if they do not reapply for Financial Assistance after six months.
